He was on his knees proposing to her not more than a month ago, in front of all her kith and kin in the most dramatic Victorian style that would make it a hit show on stage any day!
He was Ex-AFL star Wayne Carey and she was former-bikini model Kate Neilson.
Carey lives in his $3 million Broadbeach Waters home, outside which Neilson was screaming abuse in a furious rage that day.
Why?
She had discovered another woman’s clothes in the back of her car. It was none else but Wayne who was responsible for it. He was caught cheating redhanded and the cheated victim was challenging the “cheating rat” out of his mansion, loud.
Carey was reported having an affair with his best friend Anthony Stevens’ wife Kelli as well, back in 2002. And then started a series of scandals ranging from cocaine and alcohol abuse to assaulting the police in Melbourne and Miami including his brother, Dick’s arrest on drug-related charges to this day continuing!
Surprisingly “The King” of yesteryears is taking it all very, very cool… answering reporters’ questions and allowing being snapped in an unexpectedly cooperative manner!
